Councilman Al Abdel-Aziz updated in reference of the mosque and COVID virus
Councilman Al Abdel-Aziz on Sunday announced an update in reference to the mosque that held a funeral on March 12, 2020, at the United Islamic Center located on 408 Knickerbocker Avenue in Paterson.
The councilman when on to say that due to the fact that an attendee exposed to the COVID virus was present urges with grand importance to call the Paterson Health Department.
Despite the urgency, he does not want anyone in the city to panic is just a standard precautionary measure to account every one that was in that funeral. The councilmen have been in communication with community leaders urges them that all congregational meetings and services must cease on till feather notice by the State of New Jersey governor’s office.
We must take these measures to stop transporting this virus. The councilman stated, “our numbers keep rising local and statewide I am not a health expert to tell you what is out there but I can tell you take it seriously and take it a pond yourself to practice social distances and wash your hands and don’t touch your face”.
