Javier Villa el hombre de villa
2018 was a fruitful year for Dominican artist Javier Villaman. The native vocalist of Villa Altagracia, established in the United States, achieved one of his dreams after composing and recording the song “Dominicano Por Siempre” by mae stro Ramón Orlando Valoy.
After writing “Dominicano Por Siempre” in a relatively short time, Villaman dominated Dominican radio, primarily in the regions of the Cibao and the northeast area of the country.
The lyrics of “Dominicano Por Siempre” are designed to tell a real story that is destined to promote the interests of the Dominican Republic that are independent of the stories and events that are usually spotlighted by the mainstream media and social media networks.
Following the success of his musical triumph, Villaman earned the recognition of both the Mayor of his hometown, Villa Altagracia, and of New Jersey’s Peruvian community.
“This is how Javier Villaman arrives with his orchestra to all of the leading programs in national television,” said businessman Ramón Guzman, who is also Villaman’s manager. “Javier has written a song that captures the born abilities of the country while elevating the moral and patriotic value of our native country.”
Among the programs where Villaman has left his mark in the Dominican Republic are Extremo a extremo of Telemicro Internacional, El Super Poder of Super Canal, Ustedes y Nosotros of José Fabian in Teleuniverso, The Nelson Javier show of Cibao Visión Channel 25 and El Gobierno of Z 101, to name a few.
In 2018, Villaman appeared with Sergio Vargas, José Pena Suazo, Yoskar Sarante and other artists in the United States. Additionally, “Dominicano Por Siempre” was chosen as the official theme of the New Jersey Dominican Parade by community leader and organizer Elsa Mantilla. The musical theme has continued to dominate all of the relevant musical charts and radio stations across the Dominican Republic.
Villaman is currently promoting his new single “Cuando quieres tu no quiero yo”, which is a catchy song about the opposite sex and the everyday situations we all experience in life. Nivel Cinco was given the honor of being allowed to follow Villaman around during his electrifying performances and we witnessed his stage dominance firsthand. His unique way of dancing is a must-see for everyone. Marco Elias, who attended one of the shows, stated that “Javier has a comical yet captivating way to execute his songs.”
In our opinion, it is a shame that “Dominicano Por Siempre” was not considered by los Premios Soberano despite being heard throughout the country and spreading a patriotic message unlike any other artist.
